Two US Sailors Kidnapped: Nigerian Pirates?
USA and Nigeria this week has been in the news. How did I not hear it since? It was 24th October 2013 that pirates hijacked the crew took two sailors who should be expensive because they were US citizens. According to the news, oil containers were won on board by these pirates as well, leaving 11 others to sail back.The piracy occurred in Brass coast, Bayelsa state, Nigeria. As of now no one knows whether these pirates are actually Nigerians or not, because no one has claimed responsibility of the kidnap yet not that is known at the moment and also considering the security holes in Nigeria.
Notice BBC has reported that they are Nigerian Pirates, which is more likely but as of now the media should wait to hear from the likes of Asari and MEND or even Boko haram perhaps neighbouring militants.
